WWE hit the reset button all across its top story on Raw to adjust its creative blueprint.

We wrote here last week that the company had some tough decisions to make after Seth Rollins’ injury to lay a course for WrestleMania 42, and we got a brilliantly laid foundation of that on Monday in so many ways.

Paul Heyman

Heyman was masterful throughout the show. He explained that he was not behind the Vision turning on Seth Rollins, but he was OK with it because he really wanted to work with the future in Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, and not the Visionary, all along. He immediately announced Breakker as the next big WrestleMania star.

Heyman immediately began working as their oracle/advocate, trying to lobby Raw GM Adam Pierce to reinstate them in the battle royal. Heyman later told Breakker and Reed not to overreact tonight and wait for him to tell them the moment to strike. This will likely set up the Survivor Series WarGames match, either at “Saturday Night’s Main Event” when a new championship is crowned or shortly thereafter.
