The wife of missing Virginia football coach Travis Turner quietly deleted her social media — just as the family revealed he was armed with a gun when he mysteriously vanished amid a child porn probe.

Leslie Caudill Turner, Turner’s wife of 25 years, suddenly scrubbed her online presence after cops last week put out 10 warrants for her husband’s arrest on child porn and solicitation charges.

Up until his shock disappearance, Turner’s wife — who shares three children with the small town coach — was a constant presence on Facebook and frequently posted proud updates about the high school team’s wins.

She also used it to send updates when her husband, the widely-celebrated head coach of Union High School in Big Stone Gap, Va., was reported missing after he left his Appalachia home on Nov. 20 just as police were en route to question him as part of their investigation.

Days after he vanished, police suddenly announced Turner was wanted for five counts of child pornography and another five of using a computer to solicit a minor.

As the widespread search for the missing father continued, a lawyer for the family revealed Friday that he was last seen leaving his home with a gun when he disappeared into a heavily wooded area.

“The last known contact the family had with Travis occurred on or about Thursday, Nov. 20, after he left his residence to walk in the woods with a firearm,” the family’s attorney, Adrian Collins, said in a statement obtained by WJLA.

“He is believed to have entered a heavily wooded and mountainous area. At which point, no warrants had been issued for his arrest.”

The lawyer added that the family had been cooperating with police and had launched their own search for him.

“It is the family’s prayer that Travis is safe and will have the opportunity to defend himself in a court of law,” the lawyer said.

Meanwhile, Turner’s family has denied the allegations leveled against him — calling the football coach a “good dad and a good husband.”

“None of that is true,” his wife told the Daily Mail last week. “I don’t know anything. I don’t know anything. I’m sorry,.”
