Grab your passport — we’re headed to the Rhythm Nation.
Five-time Grammy Award winner and ruler of the “Rhythm Nation” Janet Jackson just announced her massive 33-concert “Together Again Tour” that will take her and opening act Ludacris to arenas and amphitheaters all over North America from April 14 through June 21.
Midway through the run, she will bring her timeless hits, sophisticated dance moves and incomparable stage presence to New York City’s Madison Square Garden on May 9 and Atlantic City’s Etess Arena at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on May 20.
Jackson’s last tour was 2019’s “Special 30th Anniversary Celebration of Rhythm Nation,” and her May 9 gig at MSG will be her first performance in NYC since she headlined at Central Park’s Global Citizen Festival in September 2018 alongside Cardi B, The Weeknd and Shawn Mendes.
Now, if you’re as excited about Ms. Jackson as we are and can’t wait until tickets officially go on sale, you can grab tickets for the show closest to you as early as today, if you’re nasty.
While inventory isn’t available on Ticketmaster until Friday, Dec. 16, folks who want to ensure they have tickets ahead of time can go ahead and purchase on Vivid Seats before seats are officially on sale to the general public.
Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.
They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

A complete calendar featuring all upcoming Janet Jackson tour dates, venues and links to buy tickets can be found below.
Janet Jackson opening act
At all shows, Janet Jackson will be joined by A-List rapper and “2 Fast 2 Furious” star Ludacris.
If you’re unfamiliar with the three-time Grammy-winning rapper turned actor, we recommend sampling his mega hits to get a taste of his singular sound.
“Roll Out (My Business),” “Move B***h,” “Welcome To Atlanta,” “How Low,” and the anthemic “Stand Up” should get you up to speed in no time.
Janet Jackson new music
At the time of publication, there is no “new” Janet Jackson music. Her most recent release is a deluxe reissue of 1997’s “Velvet Rope” and before that, there was 2015’s “Unbreakable.”
However, rumors are swirling that a new album from Jackson may be on the way.
“Yes, there will be new music,” the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee shared on Instagram in front of a Christmas tree.
Unfortunately, there are no further details as Jackson didn’t elaborate further, but keep an eye out.
