The Red Storm held onto a diminishing lead late in the semifinals against Seton Hall, thanks to Big East Player of the Year Zuby Ejiofor.
“We’re playing for a championship,” coach Rick Pitino said after St. John’s 18th win in its last 19th games. “We played for the regular season Watch St. John’s-UConn in Big East Tournament final for free as if our life was on the line. We’re going to play tomorrow as if our life is on the line.”
