The video doesn’t lie, and it seems Ja’Marr Chase did in fact spit on Jalen Ramsey during the pair’s altercation on Sunday during the Steelers’ 34-12 win.

Video captured by Fox 19 showed the incident in question — which occurred with a little more than 12 minutes left in the game — and it showed the two players getting in each other’s faces before what looks like spit came from Chase toward Ramsey.

The situation escalated from there as Ramsey responded with a punch and players from both sides rushed over to de-escalate things.

Chase denied spitting on Ramsey, but the video, which was not part of the broadcast, suggests otherwise.

The NFL will be reviewing the incident, a league spokesperson told ESPN’s Adam Schefter, which could result in disciplinary action against Chase.

At the time, only Ramsey was kicked out of the game for the punch and the refs told a pool reporter after the game that they didn’t see anyone spit.

“No. Obviously, we did not. We did not see anything that rose to that level at all,” referee Bill Vinovich said.

Speaking about the altercation after the game, Ramsey said that the only reason he went after Chase the way he did was because of the spitting.

“He spit on me, so it’s up,” Ramsey said. “I don’t give a f–k about football after that, respectfully.”

The corner added that the situation had been building up during the course of the game.

“The first little thing the play before he tried to, like, crack block me or whatever, you know. I got up off that, and then we got up talking s–t or whatever,” Ramsey explained. “He snatched my mouthpiece off my face mask, and that’s when I pushed his face mask. That was just a little scuffle. But the refs told us after, ‘Hey, y’all chill. No more of this.’ Cool.

“The next play, same s–t. We was talking s–t, which I’m cool with. Then, as soon as he spit, it was f–k that. I ain’t gonna tolerate that part of it for sure. I’m sure the NFL, they’ll do their due diligence. They got 100 cameras out there. They can investigate. They can see everything I just told y’all is facts.”
