Victoria Beckham wasn’t looking to spice up her life in 2008.

But her husband, David Beckham, “guilted” her into participating in the Spice Girls reunion tour at the time.

Posh spice, 51, opened up about getting back together with the group, which included Mel B, Geri Halliwell, Melanie C and Emma Bunton, in her Netflix docuseries, “Victoria Beckham.”

“David was like, ‘it’s really good for the kids to see you do this,’” she recalled, per The Independent.

“He mum-guilted me!,” Victoria noted.

David, 50, chimed in that the reason he wanted his wife to do the tour was because “our kids weren’t around to see their mum be a Spice Girl!”

The couple tied the knot in 1999 and are parents to sons Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 20, and daughter Harper, 14.

The Spice Girls first formed in 1994, before Halliwell, 53, departed the girl group in 1998.

The singer’s exit led to a hiatus in late 2000 with the ladies splitting up for good in 2001.

Victoria went on to detail how she felt stepping foot on stage again in 2008.

“I hadn’t been Posh Spice for such a long time. It was good to be back with them,” she recounted.

The group reunited once more in 2019, but Victoria declined the offer.

“It was good to celebrate the Spice Girls but it was during that [2008] tour that I realized I didn’t belong on stage. It had been fun but it wasn’t what I loved anymore,” the mom of four confessed.

Since stepping away from music, Victoria has found a passion behind the scenes.

The media mogul became a fashion designer in 2008 and created her iconic namesake brand.

She is also the founder of Victoria Beckham Beauty.

However, in April 2024, the women did give fans a taste of a mini reunion at Victoria’s 50th birthday party.

Last month, Mel B teased the possibility of a more official get together ahead of the British group’s 30-year anniversary of their 1996 debut album, “Spice.”

“I hope so,” she told The Post. “So many things that have been talked about between us and the press, my kids, their kids, us [as a] lot,” adding that plans are set in stone.

But Victoria may not be up to participate.

In fact, in her docuseries, the designer admitted that she was “hurt” by one of Mel B’s recent comments.

“It upset me not too long ago actually – Melanie B said to me ‘don’t forget where you’ve come from,’” Victoria shared on camera.

“I have never forgotten where I’ve come from. I have never forgotten that Posh Spice is the reason that I’m sitting here now. She might have been grumpy but she was actually great.”

On Wednesday, Halliwell, Bunton, 49, and Mel C, 51, were in attendance at the red carpet premiere of the three part doc.

Meanwhile, the docuseries also dove into a difficult time in Victoria and David’s marriage.

In 2016, Victoria’s fashion brand was growing and getting “great reviews,” but it was “slipping through my fingers,” she recalled.

Victoria added that David was “investing a lot” in her business, and “we were tens of millions of pounds in the red.”

“It made me panic. I was panicked by it. Because I never saw anything coming back,” David said onscreen, referring to his investment in his wife’s business.

The retired athlete explained, “We always agreed that we would support each other no matter what, but it worried me. This isn’t sustainable.”

In 2017, Victoria’s business was ultimately saved by investor David Belhassen.

But before Belhassen got involved, “I didn’t know what to do….I felt embarrassed…I was really desperate,” Victoria expressed.

When she went home to her husband, “I would talk to him about it, and I hated it, I absolutely hated it.”

In 2016, “we both sat there, and we looked at what I invested…part of that conversation broke my heart, because Victoria is a proud woman,” David detailed.

“Victoria Beckham” is now streaming on Netflix.
