Parts of the internet were knocked offline Tuesday after a major Cloudflare outage disrupted access to platforms including X and Letterboxd.

Visitors were met with an “internal server error on Cloudflare’s network” and told to “please try again in a few minutes” as the disruption rippled across websites that rely on the company’s infrastructure services.

Cloudflare said it was dealing with a major outage on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. vladim_ka – stock.adobe.com

Cloudflare confirmed it was probing the issue in a status update, saying, “Cloudflare is aware of, and investigating an issue which potentially impacts multiple customers.” It added, “Further detail will be provided as more information becomes available.”
