Firefighters were called Wednesday to extinguish a blaze at Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill’s South Florida home, according to reports.
Smoke could be seen over the roof of the home, which was purchased for $6.9 million in 2022 according to property records cited by WSVN 7 News, and was upgraded to a two-alarm fire.
Hill, who is preparing for the Dolphins’ regular-season finale Sunday against the Bills, left practice and “has been in communication with his family,” the organization said in a statement.
“Tyreek has been in communication with his family. Everyone is out of the house and safe at this time. He has also left practice to deal with the situation,” the Dolphins’ statement read, according to WSVN 7.
WSVN 7 reported firefighters were looking for other possible hotspots around the property.
No injuries have been reported, per WSVN 7.
