Shootings broke out at two US Walmart locations this week that left three dead within the span of 24 hours, according to reports.

On Monday, a gunman opened fire at an Ohio Walmart, injuring four shoppers before turning the gun on himself.

A day earlier, a suspect shot a man and a woman dead on their way into a Walmart store in Alaska.

One of the worst mass shootings in recent years also took place at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas, when gunman Patrick Crusius killed 23 people in a racist attack in August 2019.

Gunfire rang out at the discount retailer yet again on Sunday evening in Alaska when a suspect opened fire at the Walmart in South Anchorage, killing a man and a woman.

A firearm was located at the scene, though as of Monday, the shooter is still at large, the Anchorage Police Department said in an update posted to Facebook.

When police arrived at the scene they found the victims’ bodies with gunshot wounds in the parking lot, near the store’s entrance.

“That just happened right outside the main entrance. It’s just insane,” Sean Keating, an APD officer and crime scene team leader, told Alaska Public Media.

The Walmart store — which is located less than half a mile away from the Dimond Center, Alaska’s largest shopping mall — shut down following the incident, and officers helped shoppers and employees make their way through the parking lot to their cars.

Police have released few other details on the deadly shooting. The Post has sought comment from the Anchorage Police Department.

Just 24 hours later, a gunman walked into an Ohio Walmart and opened fire on shoppers, injuring four people before turning the gun on himself.

Police shared in a Facebook update Monday night that the victims were transported to local hospitals, “and their conditions are unknown at this time.”

The shooter — who has yet to be identified — was reportedly armed with an assault rifle, witnesses told 5 News Online.

On Monday night, four people were wounded when a gunman opened fire at this Walmart in Beavercreek, Ohio, before turning the gun on himself.

Walmart told the outlet that it was “heartbroken by what’s happened at our Beavercreek, Ohio, store,” which is located just outside of Dayton.

“This remains a developing situation, and we’re working closely with investigators on the scene,” the Arkansas-based retailer added.

Walmart didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment on the shootings.

The Post has sought comment from the Beavercreek Police Department and the discount chain, which has more than 4,600 locations in the US and 5,200 worldwide.
