Here at noti.group, we love physical media, and we know many of you do as well. That’s why it’s our duty to share the news that many great 4K Blu-ray and standard Blu-ray movies, TV shows, and box sets are on sale for Prime Day. Amazon is currently offering a ton of great Blu-ray deals (including a “buy two, get one free” deal), but if you’d rather shop elsewhere, other retailers have an excellent selection of deals, too. Now through July 12th, for example, Target is running a “buy two, get one free” promo. Barnes & Noble, meanwhile, is hosting a big sale on Criterion Collection classics through July 27th.
One thing to note — and you may already be aware of this — is that you need a 4K Blu-ray player to play 4K Blu-rays. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X can both serve as a basic option, but we thought you’d like to know that Panasonic’s solid UB420-K 4k Blu-ray player is also down to $229.72 (normally $250) at Amazon. If you’d like to take a gamble on a returned “like new” model through Amazon Resale (formerly Amazon Warehouse), Prime members can get one for just $148.79 before tax.
