There’s always something new at SL Green’s 11 Madison Ave.
Last week’s splash was Eleven Madison Park chef Daniel Humm’s announcement that the three-Michelin-star restaurant will drop its vegan-only policy for a menu option including meat and fish.
Now, although it might not set foodie tongues wagging, comes word that Tempus AI signed a lease for 39,565 square feet on part of the 17th floor — which “underscores the increased leasing velocity in Midtown South,” SL Green leasing director Steven Durels said.
Tempus AI is moving from the Helmsley Building at 230 Park Ave.
The 2.37 million square-foot 11 Madison is 93% leased.
The largest tenants include Pinterest, UBS and SONY Music.
It wasn’t disclosed what Tempus AI is paying.
The asking rent on Pinterest’s recent 83,000 square-foot lease on the 13th floor was $90 per square foot.
