One of Taylor Swift’s recent wardrobe choices caught the attention of Vanessa Bryant this week — but it wasn’t a sparkly dress or sequined bodysuit.
The “Opalite” singer was seen sporting a Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation sweatshirt during the final episode of her “The End of an Era” Disney+ docu-series this month, and when Bryant saw the Kobe & Gianna-themed piece on the pop star, she was thrilled.
The Lakers legend’s widow took to her Instagram page Tuesday night to shout out Swift, sharing screen grabs from the show while writing several sweet notes to Travis Kelce’s fiancée in the captions.
“What a gift,” she said in one. “We love you @taylorswift!!!!!!”
In another, Bryant shared a “We Heart You” gif with a heart-hand emoji.
The Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation began selling the attire following the tragic deaths of Kobe and his daughter, Gianna, in 2020.
The organization has stated “100% of the net proceeds” of the apparel go “towards creating positive impact for athletes and boys & girls in sports.”
Swift and the Bryants have been close for years. Kobe actually once presented Swift with a banner at Staples Center in 2015, after she set the record for the most sold-out shows in the venue’s history.
In 2023, Vanessa and her daughters attended one of Swift’s “The Eras Tour” shows in Los Angeles, and toward the end of the concert, the “You Belong With Me” songstress ended up gifting little Bianka Bryant her “22” hat.
Swift has since been spotted wearing a necklace with a Kobe quote on it.
