The oracle Lorne has spoken.

After a tumultuous, turnover-filled last week of summer — pour one out for Heidi Gardner, Michael Longfellow, Emil Wakim and Devon Walker — “Saturday Night Live” has finally announced five fresh-faced comedians that will officially become Not Ready For Primetime Players starting Oct. 4.

They are:

Ben Marshall, 30
The red-headed member of “Please Don’t Destroy,” he’s also appeared in Peacock’s Poker Face. Next up, the writer/actor will bring the funny in Kevin Hart’s film 72 Hours, which doesn’t have a release date.

Kam Patterson, 26
A stand-up who made his name on Kill Tony. Acting-wise, you can catch him in the aforementioned 72 Hours (which also features SNLer Marcello Hernandez) as well as with David Spade in Busboys.

Veronika Slowikowska, 29
Known for her absurd Instagram sketches, live musical chops and work in FX’s What We Do In The Shadows, Netflix’s Tires, Canadian vampire series Ezra and Hulu’s Davey & Jonesie’s Locker. This past July, she and her comedy partner Kyle Chase opened for “SNL” alum Kyle Mooney at the NYC gig on his nationwide tour.

Tommy Brennan
NYC-based stand-up. He’s a regular at the Comedy Cellar and performed a five-minute set on NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Brennan also had a popular webseries entitled Roommates-In-Law.

Jeremy Culhane, 33
An actor from Los Angeles. He made his bones on Dropout TV but also had supporting turns in HBO’s The Sex Lives of College Girls, Netflix’s American Vandal and Paramount Network’s Heathers.

Excitingly enough, four of the five of them have live gigs lined up ahead of their season 51 Studio 8H cast member debut.

If you’d like to see them live, here’s where they’ll be in the near future (of course, all dates are subject to change).

Over the next month, Marshall’s biting sketch group, Please Don’t Destroy, have gigs lined up as part of their summer ’25 tour. That includes four in Red Bank, NJ on Sept. 9-10.

The brash, prolific comic has 75 shows (!) booked from now until January. While a lot of those dates will likely be rescheduled, you can find his complete calendar here. Expect to see future Weekend Update desk bits IRL.

On Wednesday, Nov. 12, the gifted chameleonic performer — she can go big and small like…Heidi Gardner — headlines at Gramercy Theatre as part of the annual New York Comedy Festival. The show is titled “Veronika Slowikowska & Haley Steil Present Improv But Good.”

These next few months, Brennan, who is a bit Colin Jost-like, will take the stage in cities as varied as Austin, Washington, D.C. and Raleigh. As of now, there are no upcoming New York spots in the books for the good-natured stand-up.

Jeremy Culhane

Unfortunately, the Tim Robinson-esque Culhane doesn’t have any shows — as far as we know — in the near future. Instead, we recommend doing a YouTube deep dive on his channel, which features videos with his sketch group Safety Patrol.
