Now, this is one cast that is far from a modern family.

Jeff Dye is getting candid about starring in the 2019 movie “The Wedding Year” alongside co-star Sarah Hyland.

“In the time that I had to be on set, Sarah Hyland was the lead,” the comedian, 42, said on Thursday’s episode of “The George Janko Show.”

After acknowledging he was only in the rom-com for about “30 seconds,” Dye claimed that the “Modern Family” alum, 34, was “rude to everyone,” calling her a “pretty woman who chain-smokes and is terrible.”

He alleged that at one point, Hyland reportedly complained to director Robert Luketic about the film’s extras eating food from the craft service table.

“She was annoyed that some extras wanted some f–king free granola bars … like it was in her kitchen or something,” Dye said.

The stand-up comic also claimed the actress “hated” him and even told him to his face, “You’re what is wrong with people.”

Dye speculated that she allegedly did not like him because he is a man and she is “not used to masculine energy of any sort.”

Dye also claimed that the former “Love Island” host allegedly tried to show cast and crew members the trailer for the 2019 live-action “Dumbo” movie on her phone.

“They’re all in this hierarchy of Hollywood where it’s like, she’s No. 1 on the call sheet, [so] we have to, like, pander to her. If she’s mean to us, just let her be mean to us, and if she’s sad, pretend like it’s OK that she’s sad,” he explained of the on set expectations.

Dye claimed that at one point, Hyland was crying while watching the trailer, and he replied in shock at the time, “That looks gay.”

“I didn’t even mean it. I just wanted to ruin the moment,” he admitted on the podcast. “I ruined her little showpiece.”

“She thinks she’s so important, and this is, like, the whole industry,” Dye concluded.

When asked whether he was the one who rubbed Hyland the wrong way, the actor doubled down, claiming to have “checked in with everybody” on set, and they agreed that Hyland was “mean.”

Dye even joked that staffers allegedly bonded over their dislike for the “Geek Charming” actress, and it brought them closer together.

“I think, actually, people found camaraderie in hating her,” he said. “Like, she was the island.”

“Don’t care at all,” Dye said about potential backlash, insisting he was “just being honest.”

But Dye did say the film’s director, 51, “was a dream” to work with, as was his on-screen wife, Anna Camp.

“I would work with [Luketic] anytime ever again,” he added, sharing, “Me and Anna Camp became good buddies after that. Like, she’s awesome.”

The Post has reached out to Hyland’s rep for comment.

Dye previously came after Kristin Cavallari, who he dated for five months in 2021. “The Hills” star, 38, told a story about an unnamed ex-boyfriend getting arrested in front of her during a trip to Los Angeles in an October 2023 episode of her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast.

That same month, Dye was arrested for fleeing the scene of a traffic collision and driving under the influence.

“Kristin telling the story on her podcast for clicks, which, f–k her. … It’s not her story to tell,” Dye said on the “Smoochie Town” podcast in December of that year. “It was very terrible, and it hurt my feelings a lot.”

Dye called Cavallari “a terrible person” for later posting photos of his totaled car via social media, adding, “I don’t think people realize how horrific that made me feel. Like, I don’t know if anyone will ever know. I don’t know how to explain it. Imagine the worst thing that ever happened to you and strangers are looking at you, like, at a coffee shop.”
