The offense is the major culprit, ranking 356th out of 365 schools in adjusted offensive efficiency. Air Force implements methodical sets with several cuts but the roster lacks punch, which has led to a dreadful average of 62 points and 28.9 percent behind the arc.
Betting on College Basketball?
The Spartans obviously have their issues but the offense has more playmakers, ranking 183rd in adjusted efficiency.
They have three common conference opponents: Utah State, New Mexico and San Diego State. The Falcons have lost by a combined 102 points, while the Spartans lost by 64. Obviously that is not an elite analytic but I believe it accurately conveys the depth of Air Force’s futility.
