Rashee Rice's ex deletes posts with explosive domestic violence claims

An Instagram post shared last week by the ex-girlfriend of Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice, which made serious allegations of domestic violence, has been deleted.

Dacoda Nichole Jones, who has two children with Rice, claimed in the post last Wednesday that she “dealt with abuse for years” and that following the breakup between “me and this man” a couple months ago, she has been dealing with “nothing but hell.”

Jones, who did not name her alleged abuser, included multiple photos of bruises and scratches on her face and body.

She explained that she’s “so tired of protecting his image” and that “it’s time to protect my peace, protect my children and stand up for myself.”

Jones also alleged that her abuser damaged her property, locked her outside in the cold while she was pregnant and abandoned her and her kids in Kansas.

The Chiefs said they were aware of “allegations on social media” and were in communication with the National Football League. The team did not name Rice in the statement.

“We have been in contact with the club about the matter which will be reviewed under the league’s personal conduct policy,” the NFL told The Post on Thursday.

The Post reached out to Rice’s agents, C.J. Laboy, Quincy Peyton and Alexis Ramos, for comment regarding Jones’ social media activity. Neither they, nor Rice, have addressed the matter publicly.

The Chiefs finished the season at 6-11, and missed the playoffs for the first time since 2014.
