The NFL head coaching carousel is coming to an end, and the Raiders are arguably the most desirable job of the two remaining

After interviewing a wide range of candidates following the firing of Pete Carroll, including Brian Daboll, Joe Brady, and Jesse Minter, a clear favorite has emerged.

Klint Kubiak is expected to be the next coach of the Las Vegas Raiders, according to prediction market Kalshi, giving the Seahawks offensive coordinator a 68 percent chance.

There is a massive gap between him and the second-favorite option, Broncos passing game coordinator Davis Webb, who sits at 21 percent.

Rams offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur sits at five percent, and now-fired Bills coach Sean McDermott has a three percent chance to land the job, according to Kalshi.

Kubiak interviewed with just about every other open head coaching gig, but nearly every other team moved on without him, as the Seahawks have enjoyed a long playoff run.

He has helped build a strong Seahawks offense led by Sam Darnold, who was a castoff by the Jets, Panthers, and Vikings.

Seattle is No. 10 in FTN’s DVOA offense rating, though the Seahawks’ defensive unit is clearly their best as they’re rated No. 1 in defensive DVOA rating.

The Seahawks’ unit ranked No. 5 in pass and No. 14 in run, per offensive DVOA.

The Raiders have a solid offensive foundation, with Ashton Jeanty and Brock Bowers profiling as elite weapons for the expected top draft pick, Indiana Hoosiers quarterback Fernando Mendoza.

Tom Brady is among those in Las Vegas leading the head coaching search.

Betting on the NFL?

Their offensive line was rated the worst in the NFL according to Pro Football Focus, a major point of emphasis for any incoming coach.

Meanwhile, their defense will need a ton of work as well, which perhaps could give McDermott an opportunity to get into the building, but he has yet to interview anywhere since he was fired by the Bills.
