PORT ST. LUCIE — The new-look Mets and same-look Yankees met here Sunday in what used to be a must-win for one of our teams back in the days of The Boss.
No one on either team obsesses about spring results anymore, of course. It’s all about impressions, and on that score, things seem favorable in both dugouts.
“There’s a lot of good things happening here,” Mets manager Carlos Mendoza said.
