Rashee Rice has learned his fate from the NFL.

The NFL on Friday afternoon concluded that the Chiefs wide receiver “has not engaged in conduct that violates the personal conduct policy” after his ex-girlfriend, Dacoda Nichole Jones, accused Rice of abuse.

The investigation into the accusations has been closed, and no disciplinary action will be taken at this time, ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reported.

“Mr. Rice wants to thank the NFL for their thorough investigation, and looks forward to the start of the 2026-27 NFL season,” Rice’s attorney, Sean Lindsey, said in a statement.

Jones accused, in a lawsuit filed in February, Rice of choking, strangling, scratching, hitting and headbutting her in a period between December 2023 and July 2025. She is reportedly seeking over $1 million in the suit.

Jones, who shares two children with Rice, made the allegations on social media in January without naming Rice, sparking the investigation to commence.

Rice, 25, has found himself in the headlines for other off-the-field matters.

He pleaded guilty to charges for his part in a high-speed multi-vehicle crash in 2024 that left several people injured in Dallas.

After the incident, he served a six-game suspension handed down by the league, and he agreed to pay more than $1 million in a settlement to the victims of the crash.

Rice is entering the final year of his contract with Kansas City.
