The “reunion” we didn’t know we needed.

Mike Myers returned to “Saturday Night Live” for his fourth guest appearance this season and hilariously played up his 2005 awkward encounter with Kanye West, when the rapper claimed George W. Bush “doesn’t care about Black people” on national TV.

Twenty years later, Myers poked fun at the incident and several of West’s more recent controversies during the “SNL” Season 50 finale on Saturday, May 17.

In the skit, Myers played himself and is accosted by two excited fans — the night’s host Scarlett Johansson and Marcello Hernandez — in an elevator.

Things take a turn when Myers and Johansson’s character, Janet, are joined in the elevator by West, portrayed by Kenan Thompson.

Janet ditches the pair, despite Myers’ attempt to coax her into staying, leaving the “SNL” alum and West on a long and uncomfortable trip down memory lane in what turns out to be the longest elevator ride ever.

Their nightmarish conversation begins by West asking Myers how he’s been since their last encounter, which was at “that Hurricane Katrina Benefit where I said George Bush doesn’t care about Black people and you just had to stand there looking stupid.”

The infamous 2005 incident went down at NBC’s Concert for Hurricane Relief, a fundraiser for Katrina victims, in which West accused the then-president of being racist on national TV while Myers stood beside him in disbelief.

But they also touched several other controversial topics, from West’s antisemitic remarks to the Sean “Diddy” Combs sex trafficking trial.

When the comedian asked the rapper what he’s been up to lately, fake West replied, “I’m in the KKK now” before inquiring how Myers’ children are.

“My kids?” Myers responded in a panic. “My kids are safe.”

At one point, West also questioned Myers if his last name was of Jewish origin, to which the “SNL” alum nervously replied, “It’s Protestant.”

Just when it appeared that their joyride was coming to an end, the elevator broke down, sending Myers into a full-on panic.

“I’m claustrophobic!” he shouted, to which West said, “I’m a few phobics myself.

When Myers suggested jumping up and down, West hilariously replied, “No Man, I don’t like doing crazy stuff.”

The “SNL” sketch ended with West wishing Myers well.

“Take care of yourself, Shrek!” the rapper said.

The Season 50 finale featured Colin Jost’s famous wife, Johansson, as host for her seventh time.

Before the episode, fans were convinced that Jost or at least one of his co-stars would announce their exit from “SNL.”

Despite concerns, there was no departure announcement last night; however, the show did come to an abrupt end, leaving viewers to question if he or any of his peers are still planning their exit.
