If you believed the mess in Dallas couldn’t get any worse, you would be horribly mistaken.

Jerry Jones made a shocking revelation about his negotiations with star pass rusher Micah Parsons, with the very public drama between the two spiraling during Cowboys training camp and Parsons requesting a trade earlier this month.

“When we wanted to send the details to the agent (David Mulugheta), the agent told us to stick it up our ass,” Jones told Michael Irvin on the Hall of Famer’s podcast.

“We were going to send it over to the agent and the agent said don’t bother because we’ve got all that to negotiate. Well, I’d already negotiated. I’d already moved off my mark on several areas. And so, the issue is frankly that we already had the negotiation in my mind, and now the agent is trying to stick his nose in it.”

Jones also seemingly dared Parsons to sit out the season, saying the two sides have “three years to work this out.”

Parsons is set to play on his $24 million fifth-year rookie contract option this season.

The Cowboys could also use the franchise tag on him for 2026 and 2027, which would prevent him from becoming a free agent.

Mulugheta told the Dallas Morning News he was aware of the remark from Jones, but declined to further comment on it.

However, ESPN’s Ryan Clarke says otherwise. He spoke with Mulugheta, of Athletes First, who said “I’ve never used that phrase in my life.”

“I just hit David Mulugheta and I simply asked him, ‘Did you tell Jerry Jones to stick the contract up his A-S-S’ cause I was like ain’t no way,” Clarke said in a video posted on his X account Thursday night. “He laughed and he said ‘I’ve never used that phrase in my life.’ So, for anybody who is reporting that for Jerry Jones saying that, this is false. This never happened. This is just another public way to make this situation, which is already ugly, even uglier. David Mulugheta in no way has ever told Jerry Jones or any other general manager or owner that. It’s all bullcrap. It’s all lies.”

This clip of Jerry Jones explaining the Micah Parsons situation is worth your time:

It may not matter at this point, with Parsons, 26, seemingly determined to get out of Dallas.

The former Penn State star and No. 12 overall pick in the 2021 Draft recently cleansed his social media bios of Cowboys references.

His X profile photo is a Bible verse, Micah 7:8, which reads, in part, as “Even if I fall, I will rise; the Lord is my light.”

Parsons also changed his background photo to one of him sitting at the podium after winning the Cotton Bowl with the Nittany Lions, and the bio simply reading, “Penn State 2021. TBD.”

The four-time Pro Bowler also made a mysterious TikTok post Thursday that featured a vintage Allen Iverson quote playing behind images of Parsons blowing a kiss and waving.

“Imma win wherever I go. Wherever I go, imma win. I don’t care where I go. I don’t give a damn what team I go to, imma win,” Iverson said as part of his famous 2022 “practice” rant.

“… Just like they name me the MVP, that’s what I am; that’s what I always felt like I was. I’ve been in the league for six years and I felt like I was the MVP for six years.”
