Brian Kelly is out at LSU.
The Tigers’ head coach is being fired by the program, according to multiple reports.
ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported that Kelly had been informed of the school’s intention to let him go earlier on Sunday and the school is notifying the team, which is on a bye week this week, on Sunday night.
The decision comes a day after LSU lost 49-25 to Texas A&M on Saturday night and ends a three-plus season run where Kelly went 34-14.
Kelly is owed over $54 million in buyout money.
