Lil Nas X divulged on the “difficult” few years he had faced just months before he was arrested and hospitalized in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The two-time Grammy winner, 26, was booked for battery on a police officer after he had been caught wandering down a busy street wearing nothing but white underwear and matching cowboy boots.

The “Old Town Road” singer, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, was then taken to the hospital for treatment. His current condition remains unclear.

Back in February, the musician shared a candid video of himself on social media in which he addressed that he was being “flaky” and “all over the place.”

“These last few years were pretty difficult for me,” he said, according to a video re-shared by a fan account on X. “They have been pretty difficult for me.”

“I’m just now, like arriving to this place of feeling confidence in myself and what I’m doing. And I’m trying to make sure I put intention towards my music and my vision and the creativity of it all.”

His struggles continued into April, when he revealed that he was hospitalized after losing “control of the right side” of his face.

“It’s like, what the f–k, bro?” he said in a video at the time. “I can’t even laugh right, bro. What the f–k. Oh my God, oh my God, bro.”

“It’s already getting better. But you can see that this left eye is blinking,” he said, adding that he’s having a harder time closing his right eye.

“Right eye is stubborn. Imma be good. Smile getting a little better,” he added.

Nas previously opened up about how he began to self-medicate after his grandmother died in 2018.

“My grandmother passing — she was the first person close to me who died,” he told Variety in Jan. 2020. “It was devastating. And it made me a hypochondriac: I’d wake up, heart racing. It was scary.”

The “Industry Baby” singer added that he started “smoking [weed] heavily,” which made him feel “more connected with the universe.”

Before Thursday’s incident, the singer shared a series of images on Instagram of his messy house with pieces of art and furniture scattered throughout.

Some of the pictures, including a mirror selfie, were accompanied by a cryptic caption.

“And just like that she’s back. We’ve all waited so long. When dreamworld needed her the most. 😕🥲,” he wrote.

“OH NO sHES GONE MAD! CRAZY I TELL U! 😭🙏🏾😈🫦🫶🏾❤️,” he captioned another.
