The Knicks are about to be back in action as they gear up for what’s expected to be a Finals-or-bust campaign.
The Knicks will host media day Tuesday before officially opening up camp on Wednesday.
Their roster from last season’s run to the Eastern Conference Finals didn’t undergo any significant changes. The biggest shakeup happened at the top with Tom Thibodeau, who was shown the door after taking the Knicks to their first Eastern Conference finals since 2000.
Then came an embarrassing coaching search in which the Knicks were caught looking as if they didn’t have a succession plan. They were turned down by multiple teams when they requested to interview head coaches still under contract.
