Guerschon Yabusele is entering this season with considerably more heft than last year.

The new Knicks forward weighs in at 283 pounds, 18 pounds more than he was a season ago with the 76ers.

“I did not ask him to put on weight or take off weight,” coach Mike Brown said. “That’s something that our performance people talk to him about.”

Yabusele was one of the key offseason additions to fortify the bench, along with Jordan Clarkson.

The 6-foot-8 forward averaged 11.0 points and 5.6 rebounds in 70 games last season.

He is the heaviest Knick on a roster that features two 7-footers.

Yabusele is also one of the heaviest players in the league, alongside players like Zach Edey (305), Jusuf Nurkic (290) and Nikola Jokic (284).

Yabusele didn’t have an overly impressive preseason, averaging 4.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and shooting 31 percent from the field in five games across 17.4 minutes.

The Knicks signed the Frenchman to a two-year, $12 million deal in the offseason.

Karl-Anthony Towns practiced fully after missing Friday’s preseason finale due to a quad injury.

“Just getting ready for the season,” he said.
