Kim Kardashian is no longer keeping up with Kanye West.
The SKIMS founder, 44, got candid on her marriage to the disgraced rapper, 47, during Thursday’s episode of “The Kardashians.”
After Khloe Kardashian debriefed her sit-down with ex-husband Lamar Odom to mom Kris Jenner and Kim, it spurred memories up for the “AHS” actress.
Khloé, 40, admitted that she knows she “got married way too quickly” to Odom, 45, whom she divorced in 2016 after seven years, but still “wouldn’t change a thing” about her decision.
“That was the love of my life. And if it wasn’t for drugs, I know we would still be married ’til today,” she continued. “I know I picked the right person at that time. None of us knew he was on drugs until it was at least a year in. That’s what was so terrifying.”
Khloe’s admission prompted Kim to open up about her own divorce from Kanye.
“That’s the hardest part. I’ve been there,” she confessed, seemingly referring to her split from the musician. “When you don’t foresee something happening that really changes a person’s personality and then they’re not the same person and you can’t ever get that person back, but you can’t live with the new person. I get it.”
In a confessional, Kim reflected on the turmoil. “It’s tougher when you don’t want your marriage to end off of personal reasons but circumstances change that force your marriage to end,” she said. “When you weren’t planning on that and that’s not really the outcome you want but there’s no other option, I think it makes it harder to get over.”
The reality star and her ex, who share daughters North, 11, and Chicago, 6, and sons Saint, 9, and Psalm, 5, divorced after six years together in 2021 following Kanye’s public struggles with his bipolar disorder.
In a court filing obtained by the People at the time, she requested to be declared legally single ahead of the divorce being finalized as she revealed ongoing conflict between the two.
“I very much desire to be divorced. I have asked Kanye to keep our divorce private, but he has not done so. Kanye has been putting a lot of misinformation regarding our private family matters and co-parenting on social media which has created emotional distress,” she said.
“While I wish our marriage would have succeeded, I have come to the realization that there is no way to repair our marriage. Kanye does not agree but at least it appears that he has come to the realization that I want to end our marriage, even if he does not.”
A year later, the exes finally settled their divorce, ironing out their custody and property issues, according to court documents obtained by The Post.
Kim and Kanye received joint custody of their four children, but in November, the mom-of-four made it clear that she’s a single parent.
“There are nights I cry myself to sleep,” Kim said while on the “On Purpose with Jay Shetty” podcast. “With all the moods and the personalities and sometimes they’re fighting, and there’s no one there.”
“Like, it’s [just] me to play good cop and bad cop,” she added. Parenting is so hard. There’s just nothing that can prepare you for this experience.”
Kim was also previously married to Kris Humphries from 2011 to 2013 and Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2004.
