NAPA, Calif. — Those in the room sat rapt as the captain spoke.

On Tuesday night inside a sprawling mansion in the hills of Napa Valley with his entire team in front of him, U.S. Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley spoke himself into tears while delivering an emotionally charged address to his 12 players, their caddies and families.

Bradley showed videos to everyone to pump them up to take on the Europeans at Bethpage Black Sept. 26-28. He showed past Ryder Cup highlights and highlights specific to each of his 12 players doing great things on the golf course.

“It was a special night,’’ Gary Woodland, one of Bradley’s vice captains, told The Post Wednesday on the eve of the Procore Championship at Silverado, where Bradley has assembled 10 of his 12 players to compete and stay sharp for Bethpage Black. “Keegan got emotional. It was about getting the guys together a couple weeks before the Ryder Cup and building relationships deeper than golf. We’re trying to build trust and get these guys we know each other.’’
