I don’t want to wait.

Former “Dawson’s Creek” co-stars Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson reunited this week for a new movie.

Holmes, 46, and Jackson, 47, were spotted together in New York on Monday, July 21. Photos caught the pair smiling as they walked along a city street.

Other pics showed the “Batman Begins” star and “Cruel Intentions” actor deep in conversation as Jackson leaned up against a railing and Holmes moved her hands around as she talked.

Holmes later took to Instagram to reveal that the project she and Jackson reunited for is “Happy Hours,” a new feature film trilogy she is set to write, direct and star in.

“I am so very grateful to be working again with so many of my wonderful friends on this film HAPPY HOURS,” the actress began. “And working with Josh after so many years is a testament to friendship.”

“HAPPY HOURS is a love story that includes so many people I adore,” Holmes added. “We can’t wait for everyone to see what we make.”

Other cast members include Mary-Louise Parker, Constance Wu, Joe Tippett, and John McGinty, according to Deadline.

The outlet described the new project as “a story about two people (Jackson and Holmes) navigating their relationship within the challenges of careers and family responsibilities and the pursuit of love, despite life’s inevitable obstacles.”

“It’s a character-driven dramedy that explores the emotional journey of young loves who reconnect as adults, with the connective thread of shared joys, loss, and hope,” it added.

Nearly 30 years before “Happy Hours,” Holmes and Jackson had their breakthrough roles in “Dawson’s Creek.”

The popular teen drama was set in the fictional town of Capeside, Massachusetts, and ran for six seasons from 1998 to 2003 on The WB.

While James Van Der Beek starred as the titular Dawson Leery, Jackson portrayed his best friend, Pacey Witter. Holmes played Josephine “Joey” Potter, Dawson’s second-best friend and eventual love interest.

The iconic cast was later rounded out by Michelle Williams (Jen Lindley), Kerr Smith (Jack McPhee), Meredith Monroe (Andie McPhee), Busy Philipps (Audrey Liddell) and Chad Michael Murray (Charlie Todd).

While Holmes and Jackson’s characters ended up together on the show, the pair also dated in real life between 1998 and 1999.

Earlier this year, during an episode of Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s “Dinner’s on Me” podcast, Jackson revealed which of his former co-stars he still keeps in touch with.

“Busy and Michelle are very, very close,” he said in April. “And Katie and I are very close.”

Jackson went on to marry actress Jodie Turner-Smith in 2019, although they ultimately split in 2023. The former couple share daughter Juno, 5.

As for Holmes, she was married to Tom Cruise from 2006 to 2012. The pair has Suri Cruise, 19.

After her divorce from the “Mission: Impossible” star, Holmes dated Jamie Foxx from 2015 to 2019.

Meanwhile, “Dawson’s Creek” creator Kevin Williamson recently teased a possible revival of the beloved series.

“Not in television form. I think there’s other ways that it can come to fruition,” he told The Post in June. “But I’m not so sure… I feel complete. I feel like we told the story.”
