Justin Timberlake has been urged to “retire” by fans after a video of him dancing on tour went viral for all the wrong reasons.

Timberlake is currently embarking on the European leg of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour.

A video shared by a fan who attended one of the singer’s latest shows has gone viral after fans ridiculed Timberlake’s “cringe” and “awkward” dance moves.

The clip shows Timberlake dancing around a microphone stand attached to the floor, at one point almost appearing to slip as he awkwardly throws his hands into the air.

“I mean I love JT just as much as the next boy band obsessed girlypop but LOL this is comical,” wrote the fan that shared the viral video on TikTok.

Other fans rushed to poke fun at the clip, with some even urging the star to lay down his dancing shoes and retire.

“Some artists need to know when to retire,” remarked one.

“I didn’t recognise him so I thought it was a contestant performing for one of those talent shows,” commented a second fan.

A third joked: “And the crowd goes … home!” while another added: “He looks like a kid that just told his mum to watch his moves.”
