It’s just one week.
That is the reminder we all have to give ourselves after Week 1 of the NFL season. There is nothing that draws more of an overreaction in sports than the first weekend of NFL games.
But … Justin Fields looked pretty damn good.
Jets fans have enough failed quarterback relationships to know it’s not smart to think about marriage after the first date. Still, it’s OK to be excited about what Fields might bring to the Jets this year.
