Call it a permanent vacation.

Jude Law has revealed if he will make a cameo in the upcoming “The Holiday” remake, nearly 20 years after starring in the original 2006 movie as countryside widower Graham Simpkins.

“I’m playing the grandfather,” Law, 52, joked during Wednesday’s episode of the “Today” show. “No, I’m not. I’m really not.”

Jude Law talks about “The Holiday” remake on the “Today” show in New York on Sept. 17.

“You know, I heard about it. I know nothing about it,” he shared. “Nothing, other than I don’t think I’m in it. I don’t know.”

The “Sherlock Holmes” actor added that he would reprise his role as Graham for the limited series adaptation if approached, but only under one condition.

“Nancy Meyers would have to be involved,” he said of the original film’s director. “She was the magic that brought all that together.”

Meyers, meanwhile, was reportedly the one who informed Law that a remake was even being developed.

“I think Nancy wrote to me and said, ‘Have you heard about this?’” he recalled. “Literally.”

It was first revealed that “The Holiday” was being adapted into a limited series for AppleTV+ last month when Deadline reported the surprising news.

“News to me,” Meyers wrote on Instagram last month about the series. “Imagine my surprise when I opened Instagram and this was the first post I saw.”

Law and Meyers first sparked rumors of a possible sequel in 2024 when they reunited to celebrate his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Later that day, the director further fueled speculation when she shared a video of Law reenacting a beloved character from the original flick — Mr. Napkin Head!

“Look who I’m having lunch with today,” the Oscar-nominated filmmaker said in the clip. “Congratulations on your so deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. That’s amazing.”

“Thanks, Nancy,” the actor responded. “It’s so lovely to see you.”

“It’s so great to see you,” Meyers replied, noting they hadn’t seen each other since they “wrapped up ‘The Holiday.’”

“Is that a yes, Jude?” Meyers asked Law about whether a sequel was in the works. Instagram / Nancy Meyers

“Speaking of which,” she continued, “I’ve seen you interviewed a lot, and they keep asking you if there’s going to be a sequel, what do you think?”

“Is there gonna be a sequel?” he questioned, before grabbing a white napkin, putting the linen over his face and adding Mr. Napkin Head’s signature glasses.

Despite Law’s enthusiasm, a whole new cast will reportedly be brought on to star in the limited series.

While the adaptation is still reportedly looking for its lead actors, Meyers is not expected to have any involvement in the new project.

Krissie Ducker is attached to write and executive produce the Apple TV+ series, with Rob Delaney serving as a consultant and Left Bank Pictures producing the project, per Variety.

The premise, however, is expected to remain the same as the original film, which starred Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet and Jack Black alongside Law.

“The Holiday” followed Amanda, an ambitious businesswoman from the US (Diaz), who swaps homes with Iris, a heartbroken British columnist (Winslet), at Christmas time.

While away, Amanda falls for Graham (Law), who is also Iris’ brother. Meanwhile, Winslet’s character finds a match in Miles, played by Black.
