An injury is no way to celebrate Christmas.

Josh Hart appeared to hurt his right ankle while driving to the rim during the fourth quarter of the Knicks’ Christmas Day clash against the Cavaliers at Madison Square Garden.

He was fouled by Dean Wade on the play – and stepped on Wade’s foot while planting to go up for a layup.

Hart stayed down on the ground in pain for a few moments before taking – and making – both free throws. He subsequently checked out and limped into the locker room and was replaced by Tyler Kolek.
