The ending of “Agatha All Along” episode 5 has heavily hinted at the true identity of Teen.
In the heated moments after Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) absorbs Alice’s powers (Ali Ahn), Teen, who is played by Joe Locke, confronts her on the Witches Road for killing their second coven member, asking her if being a witch means “killing people to serve your own agenda?”
After looking at him for a split second, Agatha chuckles and says “Are you sure? You’re so much like your mother.”
Teen then becomes enraged, and viewers can see his true powers for the first time.
Teen uses mind control on Lilia (Patti LuPone) and Jen (Sasheer Zamata) to push Agatha into sinking mud before blasting the two into the mud as well.
The final shot of the episode shows a blue crown appearing across Teen’s head that looks very similar to Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen), also known as the Scarlett Witch.
Audiences have even pointed out that playing Billie Eillish’s “You Should See Me in a Crown” as the outro indicates that Teen is Billie, one of Wanda’s sons.
With costumes changing with every house the coven enters, Teen’s costume bore a resemblance to Billy Maximoff during the Halloween episode of Disney+’s “WandaVision.”

Another social media user commented, “This is going down in MCU HISTORY as one of the most INSANE reveals of ALL TIME like I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO F—ING GAGGED #AgathaAllAlong.”
Teen’s identity has always been a mystery, though many fans believed Teen was Billie Maximoff since before the show’s debut.
Viewers first got a glimpse of the secret after he started to share his childhood with Agatha in episode 2, and Agatha couldn’t hear anything as Teen’s voice was drowned out.
It is also noted that when another character asks Teen who he is, a sigil appears on his mouth, preventing him from revealing who he is.
He previously asked Agatha if she was the one who put the sigil on him, and she replied: “No. Actually, I wouldn’t know. A sigil works on the witch who cast it as well. That’s why we don’t use them as much. They’re super irritating.”
She later said that sigils are destroyed “when they are no longer needed.”
Fans of the show have speculated that Teen’s true identity was Nicholas Scratch, Agatha’s son in Marvel comics lore. In the show, it was revealed that Agatha traded her son for the Book of the Dead when he was still a baby and hasn’t seen him since.
This theory was debunked in episode 5. Amongst the chaos of Agatha’s trial in the house, Teen asks the Ouija board who the spirit is, and the name that was spelled out is Nicholas Scratch, indicating that he is no longer alive.
“Agatha All Along” showrunner Jac Schaeffer previously spoke to EW about the Teen theories.
“It’s about how we peel back the layers,” she said. “It’s our job to make the reveals exciting and satisfying. Now when I see the theories, I still get a little nervous, but I have the experience of WandaVision, a voice in my head that’s like, ‘Well, no one knows the how.’”
We’re finally at a point in the series where we’re getting that how.
