Brady Cook will get his first career start Sunday after all.

Jets head coach Aaron Glenn said Friday that the undrafted rookie free agent will get the nod against the Jaguars with Tyrod Taylor (groin) and Justin Fields (knee) both ruled out.

Adrian Martinez, signed back to the practice squad this week, will serve as Cooks’ backup.

It marks just the latest wrinkle in the Jets’ season of quarterback uncertainty and shuffling.

When Taylor exited their loss to the Dolphins on Sunday, Cook took over and completed 14-of-30 passes for 163 yards and a pair of interceptions.

“I think he was comfortable even last week going into the game — just a tough situation with him not getting the chance to get all the reps,” Glenn said Friday. “But now this week, he’s had a chance to get all the reps with the ones, get a chance to communicate with the O-line, with the receivers, with the tight ends, with the coaching staff on exactly how we want to go about playing this game.

“I have all the confidence in the world. That’s something I’ve stated from the very beginning. He’ll be a good player in this league, and he has his opportunity again this week.”

Cook will become the 10th different quarterback to start a game for the Jets since the 2022 season began, joining a list that includes Taylor, Fields, Aaron Rodgers, Zach Wilson, Mike White, Joe Flacco, Chris Streveler, Trevor Siemian and Tim Boyle.

He spent his collegiate career at Missouri.

“Sometimes, you only have one shot — and when you have one shot, man you have to shine in that shot because you don’t know if you’re gonna get it again,” Glenn said. “He understands that, along with any other guy that gets an opportunity understands it also.”
