All three “Jeopardy!” contestants were stumped by 23 clues on Wednesday’s episode, resulting in the lowest Coryat score of the season, according to show recappers. Coryat is a player’s score if wagering is disregarded.
Collette Lee, an Illinois middle school math teacher; Chatham, New York-raised human rights lawyer Kristine Rembach; and Georgia networking engineer Suresh Krishnan did not even attempt to buzz in for 23 clues.
Warning: “Jeopardy!” spoilers ahead.
Seven of the stumpers took place during the Jeopardy round, and 16 more occurred in Double Jeopardy, meaning that more than half the board in the second round went unanswered.
Two Daily Doubles were answered incorrectly, and two clues were left unplayed.
One Reddit user claimed the known record for “Jeopardy!” triple stumpers is 24, set in 2005.

A Reddit user claiming to be contestant Lee addressed the difficulty of Wednesday’s game.
“Collette here — Kristine and I commented on that to each other before Final, saying that we were worried we’d go viral for not knowing anything!” the user wrote about the stumpers.
“I personally tried to ‘keep calm and clam up’ to try to avoid ending up in the red with bad guesses but as the game wore on, especially in Double Jeopardy it was obvious we were collectively riding the struggle bus with our board!”
The contestants collectively correctly answered 33 clues for a combined Coryat of $21,400 — the lowest of the season.
Krishnan claimed a consecutive win, earning $10,499 for a two-day total of $21,099.
He and Lee both correctly answered the Final Jeopardy clue in the category of European countries.
“Of all the nations that border Italy, the one that didn’t exist in 1990,” the clue read. Slovenia is the answer.
Lee came in second with $6,999, while Rembach placed third with $2,999.
