This was a courtside experience that left a mark.

During a recent installment of his “Roommates Show” with friend and Knicks teammate Josh Hart, Jalen Brunson came face-to-face with Martha Stewart, whose toe he accidentally broke during a playoff clash at Madison Square Garden last spring.

“You didn’t know, it’s not your fault, it’s my fault for wearing open-toed shoes,” the 84-year-old Stewart recalled of the May 2025 incident.

For those needing a brief refresher, Brunson collided with a courtside Stewart during Game 1 of the Knicks’ crushing 138-135 overtime loss to the Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Although Brunson, 29, apologized for his role in the break and sent a basketball to Stewart’s grandson, the lifestyle mogul noted how the situation unfolded swiftly.

“You jumped up really fast, and I remember saying to you, ‘It’s OK,’ you had no idea that you had hurt me, I didn’t say you hurt me, but I said, ‘It’s OK.’ It wasn’t OK at all,” Stewart said.

Stewart then got her foot checked out at the Hospital for Special Surgery on the Upper East Side, where they coined the injury after her and the star Knicks point guard.

“They’ve named it the Stewart-Brunson fracture,” she said on the show. “I have an X-ray, I’m going to leave you a picture of it.

“… It was actually a break. It’s better now. It took one year to heal.”

When Hart, 31, pressed Brunson about how he felt after hearing Stewart’s experience, Brunson replied, “I don’t feel too great,” eliciting laughter from the show’s guest.

Stewart previously dished about her Garden dilemma on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in December.

“See those open-toe shoes? Never, ever wear open-toe shoes to a game like that when you’re sitting on the floor,” Stewart said at the time of her sandals. “… That’s why I’m wearing open-toe shoes, cause it’s the only kind of shoes I can wear now.”

With the Knicks returning to the postseason, Stewart will have another chance to catch the playoff action — perhaps with more protective footwear this time around.
