A Chinese train passenger caused a stink by shamelessly putting his dirty feet in the air as fellow commuters looked on in disbelief.
Startling footage shows the petty traveller asleep on the chair with his feet in white socks dangling in front of a disgusted woman in the region of Guangxi, southern China, on Wednesday.
The local can be seen covering her nose with a towel as she patiently waits for train staff to ask the entitled man to sit properly.
Moments later, two workers can be seen confronting the passenger, who then removes his feet from the area.
Local media reported that the man took off his shoes in retaliation after the passenger behind him refused to let him recline his seat.
The video has since been shared on social media and has garnered thousands of clicks.
Shocked viewers have been quick to comment on the astounding scenes aboard the Chinese train, with one account commenting: ‘Very disrespectful, needs a major attitude adjustment’.
This is not the first time rail passengers have been shamed for their anti-social behaviour on trains by fellow travellers.

A startling clip showed the unknown passenger, who had brought her own foot file on the Southwestern Railway service train journey through London, noisily grating away at the dry skin on her heel.
The skin particles and dust from shaving her feet is seen on the train floor, making a sandpaper-like sound as she rubbed the file against her foot.
It wasn’t long before another passenger decided to intervene after noticing the woman doing the mobile beauty treatment.
In the footage shared on TikTok, which gained thousands of views, a man can be seen going up to the woman and reminding her that ‘other people are sitting here’, requesting she stops shaving her feet.
But she continued to keep grating away at her hard skin, leaving the commuter no choice but to complain to rail staff.
A male train conductor on the Southwestern Railway service can then be seen asking the woman to put her shoe back on and stop shaving her feet onboard the train.
In another odd sight, a commuter was caught resting her bare feet on the seats of a London Thameslink train.
The unseen female train passenger is seen happily wiggling her toes as the man who filmed the video looked at her in horror.
He told the MailOnline: ‘I think it’s definitely not good train etiquette, especially with others being around.
‘My feeling of feet is that they might be unclean and sweaty and people sit down on these seats – it’s quite disgusting really.
The woman was not confronted about her behaviour by anyone while the man was on the train.
Transport for London says having on your feet on seats – bare or not – is against its conditions of carriage and can lead to a fine.
