It’s a poo-dunnit mystery playing out in court.
Amber Heard is insisting she didn’t defecate in the marital bed she shared with ex-husband Johnny Depp, saying she believes the culprit was the couple’s Yorkshire Terrier, Boo.
Heard made the claim Monday as the sensational defamation trial between the “Aquaman” actress, 35, and Depp, 57, resumed in Virginia.
Depp is suing Heard for $50 million, claiming she defamed him in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed where she wrote that she had been a victim of domestic abuse.
Depp has accused Heard of leaving the feces in their bed after a massive fight back in April 2016, shortly before she headed off to Coachella with her gal pals.
But the blonde star snapped back on the stand, saying it was most likely Boo who defecated on the sheets because the dog had suffered lifelong “bowel control issues” after eating Depp’s weed while still a puppy.
When asked whether she left the feces there as a “prank,” Heard defiantly responded: “I was not in a pranking mood. My life was falling apart. I was at a crossroads in my life and I’d just been attacked on my 30th birthday by my violent husband with whom I was in love.”
“I don’t think that’s funny, period. That’s disgusting,” she further declared.
Last month, while testifying at the trial, Depp poo-poo’d claims his canine could have left the large log of feces on the bed.
“She tried to blame it on the dogs,” Depp recalled, referencing Boo and their other tiny pup, Pistol. “They’re teacup Yorkies. They weigh about 4 pounds each.”
“I lived with those dogs. I picked up their funk. It was not the dogs,” he also added.
