USA Hockey’s gold medal campaign continues this afternoon with the second of three group round games.

Today, they’ll face Denmark for the first time in Olympic history. Denmark opened the tournament with a 3-1 loss to Germany on Thursday.

Team USA is coming into today’s game off a 5-1 victory over Latvia where New York Islander and third-generation Olympian Brock Nelson scored a pair of goals and Jack Hughes, Quinn Hughes, Jack Eichel and Matthew Tkachuk each had two assists. Today, they’ll start Boston Bruins goalie Jeremy Swayman in net after opting to open the tournament with Winnipeg’s Connor Hellebuyck.
