St. John’s road to March Madness continues today with the quarterfinal round of the Big East Tournament.

As regular season champions, the Red Storm captured the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament, which began yesterday, and received a bye directly into the quarterfinals. They’ll face No. 9 Providence this afternoon.

The Red Storm are 18-2 in Big East play this season, with one of those two losses coming against Providence. Less than one month ago, the Friars and Red Storm clashed in a 79-69 Red Storm win where six players were ejected.

St. John’s vs. Providence: what to know

Yesterday, Providence overcame a 16-point deficit against Butler to advance into today’s quarterfinal.

The winner of today’s matchup advances to the March 13 semifinals.

Today’s (March 12) St. John’s vs. Providence game is scheduled to tip off at 12 p.m. ET.

How to watch St. John’s vs. Providence in the Big East Tournament for free

Today’s St. John’s vs. Providence quarterfinal is streaming exclusively on the Peacock streaming service.
