Don’t cancel those Apple TV+ subscriptions just yet. “Severance” may be over, but the premiere of a new show you won’t want to miss is much closer than you think.
“The Studio,” a highly anticipated collaboration between Seth Rogen, his production partner Evan Goldberg, Peter Huyck, Alex Gregory, and Frida Perez, officially premieres on the Apple streamer tomorrow, March 26.
Rogen (returning to Apple after 2023’s “Platonic”) will also star in the series as Matt Remick, who was just appointed the head of the fictional Continental Studios, a film studio trying desperately to survive in a rapidly changing industry. The studio is floundering and losing money… Sound familiar? Apple announced last week that it’s losing over $1 billion per year on its streaming properties.
Ahead of its premiere, “The Studio” holds a 98% Certified Fresh rating from 54 critics’ reviews. If that doesn’t get you excited, perhaps the cast will (more on that later!).

“The Studio” premieres Wednesday, March 26 on Apple TV+. Two episodes will drop on its release date and new episodes will come out every Wednesday through May 21.

Apple TV+ will often release new episodes of original series the night before their listed premiere date. In the case of “The Studio,” you’ll likely be able to watch new episodes as early as 9:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday nights.

“The Studio” airs exclusively on Apple TV+, so you’ll need a subscription to watch the new series.
Apple TV+ offers a seven-day free trial for users, so you’ll be able to watch a few episodes (depending on when you subscribe) before the $9.99/month payments kick in.

Earlier this week, Rogen revealed the show’s cast in a behind-the-scenes video posted to YouTube.
As noted above, he’ll star as Matt Remick, the newly promoted head of Continental Studios. Other series regulars include Catherine O’Hara as Amy, Ike Barinholtz as Sal Seperstein, Chase Sui Wonders as Quinn, and Kathryn Hahn as Maya.
