Week 12 is going to be a biggie in ‘bama.

On Saturday, Nov. 15, John Mateer’s No. 11 Oklahoma Sooners visit Ty Simpson’s No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide at the Bryant-Denny Stadium for a huge matchup with CFP implications.

The 8-1 Crimson Tide are riding an eight-game win streak and coming off a 20-9 victory over the reeling LSU Tigers. In that contest, Simpson completed 21 of 35 passes for 277 yards and a touchdown. Still, head coach Kalen DeBoer claimed he “really feel(s) there are things [the team] need(s) to continue to get better at.”

Brent Venables’ 7-2 Sooners had a strong showing in week 11 where they took down No. 21 Tennessee by a score of 33-27. Whether they can pull off an upset on the road at the rowdy “Saban Field” is yet to be seen.
