It’s almost time for the marquee matchup of Week 2 of the NCAA season as the Michigan Wolverines visit the Oklahoma Sooners.

Both top-25 teams — Michigan is currently sitting at No. 15, with Oklahoma at No. 18 — cruised to easy victories last weekend in their season-openers, with Michigan besting UNM 34-17 and Oklahoma trouncing Illinois State 35-3. This week should prove to be a tougher test for both teams.

All eyes will be on the quarterback matchup as five-star freshman Bryce Underwood makes his second start for the Wolverines against the Sooners’ John Mateer, who entered the transfer portal in December 2024 after three seasons at Washington State and two days later, announced his decision to transfer to Oklahoma.

Today’s game marks just the second time that these teams with storied pasts have met; the only other meeting, in 1975, ended in a Sooner victory.

Michigan vs. Oklahoma time:

The Michigan vs. Oklahoma Week 2 matchup is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. ET today, Sept. 6.

How to watch Michigan vs. Oklahoma:

If you don’t have cable, you’ll need a live TV streaming service to stream the Michigan vs. Oklahoma matchup.

One option we love is Sling TV, which has a number of flexible and cost-effective ways to subscribe, with all the channels you’ll need for college football, starting at $45.99/month. ABC is included in Sling’s Blue and Orange & Blue plans.

Additionally, DIRECTV is a great option for all things football this fall with a five-day free trial and ABC included.
