Freeski star Eileen Gu hits the slopes again this afternoon, hoping to add another medal to the one she’s already won during the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics.
Gu won the silver medal in last week’s freeski slopestyle competition, but she also qualified into another freeski discipline in tandem: big air.
Where slopestyle is a complete run comprised of tricks and flips with rails, jumps and more, big air is one singular jump with one big trick. Skiers will have three chances to perform three tricks; the best two scores of the three will be added together and the three skiers with the highest combined scores will land on the podium.
