One of the most well-reviewed movies of the year so far, Paul Thomas Anderson’s “One Battle After Another,” is now available to stream at home.

“One Battle” hit theaters on Sept. 26 and topped the box office on its opening weekend; to date, the film has grossed $197 million (and counting), making the highest grossing film of Anderson’s career.

Leonardo DiCaprio stars as Bob Ferguson, a washed up revolutionary living mostly off the grid with his teenage daughter, Willa (Chase Infiniti), paranoid that his past will come back to haunt them. When Willa goes missing just as a foe from his revolutionary days, the corrupt Col. Steven J. Lockjaw (Sean Penn), resurfaces, Bob is forced back into his revolutionary lifestyle on a journey to find Willa.

The action thriller is inspired by Thomas Pynchon’s “Vineland,” marking Anderson’s second time adapting Pynchon after 2014’s “Inherent Vice.”

In his 3.5/4 star review, noti.group’s entertainment critic Johnny Oleksinski called the film “sprawling, violent, sweaty, vulgar and invigorating,” and wrote, “at nearly three hours, the ambitious film never gets bogged down by its daunting length. ‘Battle’ is simultaneously a marathon and a sprint. At the end I wasn’t tired — I was out of breath.”

‘One Battle After Another’ streaming date

“One Battle After Another” is streaming on-demand on platforms like Prime Video now! “One Battle After Another” was released on digital Nov. 14.

How to watch ‘One Battle After Another’ on Prime Video

“One Battle After Another” is available for digital purchase on Prime Video. The film costs $24.99 to buy or $19.99 to rent.

While you won’t have to be a paid Amazon Prime member to buy “One Battle After Another,” you will need at least a free Amazon account; that way, you can return to watch “One Battle After Another” whenever you want to.

Video-on-demand rentals are good for 30 days, but expire 48 hours after you first hit play on a rented title.

‘One Battle After Another’ DVD and 4K release date

While you can stream “One Battle After Another” at home now, some may prefer a physical alternative to owning movies digitally, where there’s always the chance that rights may be revoked and you’ll lose that digital access. Physical discs are tangible proof that, as long as you have a player to play them, you’ll be able to watch the movies you own.

The 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD copies of “One Battle After Another” will be released on Jan. 20, but you can preorder now on Amazon to receive your copy on release day.
