LeBron and Luka are taking their annual trip to the Garden.

On Sunday, Feb. 1, the Los Angeles Lakers head east to go head-to-head with Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns and the New York Knicks at MSG.

If you’d like to be there for one of the most hotly-anticipated games of the 2025-26 NBA season — and maybe LeBron’s last against the Knicks in NYC if he retires this year — last-minute tickets are available.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on sites across the primary and secondary market was $472 including fees on GameTime.

Courtside seats start at $994.50 including fees on Ticketmaster.

This will be the only time the Lakers visit New York this season (other than a fingers crossed potential Finals matchup). The last time the two clubs met in the Big Apple was exactly one year prior to this matchup on Feb. 1, 2025.

Los Angeles won that contest 128-112 behind a 33-point, 11-rebound, 12-assist triple-double from LeBron. Then, a few hours after the game, they traded for Luka Dončić.

Yes, that was that night.

Coming into this showdown, both clubs are firmly ensconced in their respective playoff hunts. As of now, Mike Brown’s Knicks are in third place in the Eastern Conference, sport a 28-18 record and are riding a three-game win streak.

Similarly, JJ Redick’s Lakers sit at a 28-17 record behind a two-game win streak. They currently occupy the fifth spot in the crowded Western Conference.

Essentially, they’re mirror images of each other.

After this Feb. 1 meeting, New York hosts the Nikola Jokic-less Denver Nuggets on Wednesday, Feb. 4 and Tyrese Haliburton-less Indiana Pacers on Tuesday, Feb. 10.

Then, a little less than a month after the All-Star break at the Clippers’ Intuit Dome, they’ll fly West to play the Lakers at Crypto.com Arena on Sunday, March 8.

For more information, our team has everything you need to know and more about the Knicks vs. Lakers Feb. 1 game at MSG below.
