Anyone interested in Ben McAdoo’s whereabouts after the Giants sent him packing would have had a difficult time keeping tabs of where he was, where he had been and where he was headed.
Those tracking McAdoo were not alone in this pursuit. The challenge was real.
“My wife may have lost track of me at one point, too,” McAdoo told Sports+ recently.
A long and winding journey that took him far and nearly around the NFL, and also out of the league altogether for a spell, put him where every coach from 30 other teams wanted to be — in Santa Clara, Calif. last week as a participant in Super Bowl LX. McAdoo, a senior defensive assistant for the Patriots, did not get the result he wanted, as the Patriots were anemic on offense in a 29-13 loss to the Seahawks at Levi’s Stadium.
