This is the horrifying moment a horse thrashed around while being blasted with hot water at a car wash, with the Polish owner now facing three years behind bars.
Bizarre CCTV footage of the shocking incident shows the 43-year-old arriving at the car wash in the town of Maków Mazowiecki, Poland, in a horse-drawn carriage.
He is then seen taking a high-pressure hose and cruelly dousing the distressed animal with hot water as a companion holds on to its reins.
As the horse thrashes around, at one point the horse falls to the ground before rearing up on its hind legs and kicking in a partition wall.
Police have since launched an investigation, tracking the man down to the nearby village of Malech.
He is now facing three years in jail over potential animal abuse, after attempting to clean the animal with the vehicle washing machine.
A petrol station manager near the carwash later told local media: ‘I see many people come and go but this is the first time something like this has happened here.
‘I am shocked by what I saw.’

Social media has since been flooded by outraged viewers after images of the incident were posted online.
One viewer said: ‘This behavior is absolutely unacceptable!
‘It is not only a manifestation of absolute ignorance, but also a clear example of cruelty.’
Another said: ‘This bestiality will soon be making waves and the perpetrators will receive the punishment they deserve.
‘I hope that the people taking the photo report took the trouble to notify the Police.’
Yet another fumed: ‘This is why idiots shouldn’t have animals of any kind, tighten the law, draw consequences for stupidity.’
Police spokeswoman Monika Winnik said: ‘The police received a report about the destruction of property at a car wash by a scared horse, whose driver washed it with a pressure washer and drove away.
‘The horse destroyed hooks that secured the partition walls at the car wash.’
She added: ‘This behavior was highly irresponsible. A car wash is not a place to clean a horse.
‘It also posed a danger to others using the facility.
‘We are gathering evidence and working together with the district veterinarian.’
‘Further investigations are underway.’
