It’s time to dance with the Devil — again.

One year after rebooting the franchise within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Man Without Fear is back in “Daredevil: Born Again” Season 2 on Disney+.

The new season picks up where the last left off; crime lord Wilson Fisk a.k.a. Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) is the Mayor of New York City and Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), a blind lawyer by day who protects Hell’s Kitchen as a vigilante known as Daredevil by night, is gathering allies to fight back against his greatest adversary, Fisk and the “Anti-Vigilante Task Force.”

Krysten Ritter is set to join “Daredevil: Born Again” this season, reprising the role of Jessica Jones from Marvel’s Netflix television universe, where Cox’s version of Daredevil also originated.

In September 2025, a third season was confirmed to be in development, so these eight episodes won’t be the last you see of Daredevil.

‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2 release date

The first episode of “Daredevil: Born Again” Season 2 premieres tonight, March 24, on Disney+.

‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2 release time

‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2 cast

Most of the Season 1 cast of “Daredevil: Born Again” are set to return, including:

  • Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock / Daredevil, a blind lawyer with superhuman senses from Hell’s Kitchen, New York, who leads a double life as a masked vigilante.
  • Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk / Kingpin, a powerful businessman and crime lord who is the mayor of New York City
  • Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn, a therapist and Murdock’s ex-girlfriend who is Fisk’s Mental Health Commissioner
  • Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, a former reporter and Murdock’s friend and former partner at the Nelson, Murdock & Page law firm
  • Elden Henson as Franklin “Foggy” Nelson, Murdock’s best friend and former law partner who was assassinated in the first season
  • Wilson Bethel as Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter / Bullseye, a psychopathic assassin and former FBI agent who is a highly skilled marksman capable of using almost any object as a lethal projectile
  • Zabryna Guevara as Sheila Rivera, Fisk’s mayoral campaign director
  • Nikki M. James as Kirsten McDuffie, a former New York assistant district attorney and Murdock’s former law partner
  • Genneya Walton as BB Urich, a journalist for The BB Report and the niece of the late Ben Urich

Additionally, Krysten Ritter reprises her role as Jessica Jones, a former vigilante and the owner of a detective agency. Ritter first played Jones in Marvel’s Netflix series “Jessica Jones” and teamed up with Daredevil in “The Defenders” miniseries. Matthew Lillard is also set to join the cast as Mr. Charles, an antagonist for Fisk at the “politics and international diplomacy” level.

While it hasn’t been confirmed that Jon Bernthal will return as Frank Castle / The Punisher in the new season, as we noted above, it will conclude with the premiere of the special presentation “The Punisher: One Last Kill,” which Bernthal leads.
