noti.group’s Hall of Fame hockey columnist Larry Brooks will be taking a break from The Post as he addresses a medical issue.
“We’ve received so many queries about Larry’s absence from our Rangers coverage to start the season,” Post Executive Sports Editor Chris Shaw said. ”We miss him too, but we know he’ll be back as soon as possible and once again creating must-read Rangers content for Blueshirts and NHL fans alike.”
Brooks partners with Mollie Walker to form the premier coverage for the Rangers in print and on digital. Former Rangers star Brian Boyle joins the pair for noti.group’s popular ”Up in the Blue Seats” Rangers podcast, which also airs on YouTube.
Brooks, also known throughout the hockey world for his weekly Slap Shots column, was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2018, when he received the Elmer Ferguson Award.
Brooks also was voted 2024 co-sportswriter of the year for New York State by the National Sports Media Association.
